A primary project for me this Factory Week was to capture photos for use on the new site and throughout our marketing channels and brand collateral - new headshots, candids, office shots, and work examples. Truth be told, I'm not a photographer. I like taking pictures outdoors in the perfect lighting when you don't have to know the manual options. But when your team is small and you express interest in something then your hat is thrown into the ring - often forcing you to hone in new skills.
While I fumbled my way through many of the shots, I learned a bit more about the fancy contraption I bought and the lighting in our building forced me to avoid the ever-easy "automatic".
