Culture-Powered Photojournalism

August 02, 2013

A great culture markets itself and tells its own stories too.

This factory week, I worked with Nick and Jason to overhaul the way that we document our culture and our work through photo. The result is that SmallBox now has two others looking for interesting opportunities to tell our story.

The SmallBox curated shelf.

Here are some of the great images that Nick and Jason have found so far. Nick and Jason's pictures encouraged me to look at my space and workplace through new eyes.

Even though Nick and Jason have stepped in and are doing a great job, the ultimate goal is to get the entire SmallBox team more involved in documenting our culture in an intentional way.

Collaboration is one of our core values at SmallBox and I'm glad that we were able to take something like photography and make it more democratic and open.
