For our fifth installment, July 29 through August 2, 2013, we kicked off with more than 30 projects lined up. Some small, some large. Some included refining our sales process, making a few website updates and building a brand guidelines book.
This is the first Factory Week we conducted in our own space. Having a relatively new building with a wide open basement space for collaboration, it felt right to give Factory Week in our own space a whirl.

As a newbie to Factory Week, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I had followed along a bit as an outsider in past years and heard plenty of stories from past participants, but the mystery of this legendary institution has finally been unveiled and whew, I feel like I am back in college again.
Earlier this year, MFT started gathering materials for a new "physical music library" to archive Indiana's rich musical history in the new SmallBox space. It's going to take plenty of time and energy to get it all organized on the shelves, but music nerds like us love doing that kind of thing. Check out the progress so far!

Coming into Factory Week mid-week, I was nervous that I'd feel left out and have nothing to contribute. So far, so wrong.
